HIV in Germany? Still? Yes! But fortunately for years Germany has been one those countries with excellent health care. Their HIV and AIDS policy is a model for many others. The government is doing a great deal to prevent and reduce stigma and this is helping; the number of new HIV infections is decreasing. There are still three high-risk groups: the gay man, the immigrant and the intravenous drug user. What does this HIV policy mean for them, and do these governmental efforts really create a stigma free society?
